Overview:

Acupuncture, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, has evolved into an evidence-based medical practice with extensive research supporting its effectiveness. FDA classification in 1996 and WHO endorsement in 1998 validate its safety and efficacy across various conditions. Global Clinical Practice Guidelines recommend acupuncture, especially in musculoskeletal disorders. It's integrated into university curricula worldwide. This course is designed to cater to physiotherapists, empowering them to skillfully apply acupuncture for treating musculoskeletal issues.

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

Review recent evidence relating to Acupuncture.
Understand the basic theories of acupuncture and how it works.
Confidently locate more than 60 acupoints and perform acupuncture with different locations, angles, and depths.
Differentiate between types of pain according to Chinese theories.
Design an acupuncture protocol for the most common MSK Conditions.
Perform a professional acupuncture session with consideration to safety, precautions, and contraindications.
Practice acupuncture needling immediately after one day from the beginning of the course and gain results.
