She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Kuwait University 1998 and Master degree from Cairo University 2015. Her passion for elderly care began early in her career when she worked with geriatric patients at the Ministry of Social Affairs & Labor’s Mobile Home Care for Geriatrics in Kuwait 2003- 2005. She later provided in-person physiotherapy sessions combined with Pilates method in Brazil while living there. Further when she moved to Egypt she continued to provide sessions virtually and in person for elderly individuals. Her interest in women’s health led her to specialize in pre-natal Pilates. She became a Certified Pilates Method Instructor in 2016 and later Certified in Pre-Natal Pilates and Pilates for spinal column pathologies from Metacorpus Studio Pilates in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With those specialties she helped women navigate the physical changes of pregnancy and postpartum recovery through safe and effective Pilates exercises. Curious about the stages women experience while aging lead her to complete a course on Next Level Training for Optimal Performance: Menopause 2.0 in 2024, followed by a workshop about Menopause relationship with pelvic floor function in 2025 from PrimephysioUK. Those have deepened her understanding of menopause and how it affects both elderly women and athletic women. This knowledge has been invaluable in designing rehabilitation strategies tailored to the specific needs of aging women as well as educating women on the importance of ensuring mobility, strength gain, healthy nutrition and overall well-being. Her background in sports physiotherapy is extensive, with a certification in Sports Physiotherapy Rehabilitation 2023 and a Movement Solutions certification 2024 from PrimePhysioUK. In 2016 she volunteered as a physiotherapist at the Rio Olympics and Paralympics, where she managed sports injuries for elite athletes and para-athletes. Being an athlete herself, she has been a competitive swimmer since early years to becoming a member of the Kuwaiti National Volleyball Team since1997–2002, where she also served as the team’s physiotherapist. On athletics she continues to compete and her personal achievements in master swimming events, marathon races and triathlons nationally and internationally including an Ironman 70.3 World Championship reinforce her belief that sports principles like discipline, working hard and goal-setting can be applied to elderly care, inspiring older adults to keep motivated in their rehabilitation and adapt to an active life style.
